Stephanie Rees

I am Steph and I work as a Specialist Academic and Wellbeing Mentor. My role is to support you through your Further or Higher education journey. Together, we will find ways to help you feel confident and empowered to complete your course to the best of your ability.

I bring six years of experience in working with university students with varying conditions/challenges.

Before becoming a Mentor, I worked as a Registered Mental Health Nurse within the NHS services for twenty years, both in hospital and community settings.

I am Claire and I work as an EMDR Therapist. I will support you through your personal EMDR Therapy journey at your pace with empathy and compassion.

I have worked in Mental Health and Counselling and Wellbeing services for over twenty years. Initially as an Occupational Therapist, then as an EMDR Therapist.

Through providing EMDR Therapy, I am able to help you process adverse life experiences which have left you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious or lost.

In addition to this, I am an Instructor Member approved to deliver MHFA England Courses. I work in accordance with NICE guidelines and am a member of both HCPC and the EMDR Association.

Together we bring all our experience, knowledge and passion into the Training and Away Day programmes that we provide.

We pride ourselves in remaining up-to-date on new developments, research and statistics and remain mindful to keep all Trainings and Away Day experiences interactive and enjoyable.

THE DANDELION

Hope, Healing & Resilience

At Wellness in Minds, we have chosen the dandelion as our icon as it symbolises hope, healing, and resilience with its ability to thrive in even the harshest conditions. Its vibrant blooms emerge through cracks in pavement, reminding us that beauty and strength can flourish despite the adversity.

Its seeds, carried by the wind, represent the power of new beginnings and the potential for renewal, encouraging us to embrace change and transformation in our own lives.
