As you go through student life in Further or Higher Education, we at Wellness in Minds can help you with the transition and journey through your course.
We will help you manage your own journey to realise your full potential and prepare yourself for life beyond education.
It may seem anxiety-provoking right now, but with the assistance of Mentoring from from an Academic and Wellbeing Mentor you won't need to manage your journey alone.
So, if you’re ready to take up Mentoring, you can expect personalised individual sessions with an experienced Mentor who really cares about your wellbeing and success.
Some things that a Mentor can help with, but each student can utilise Mentoring in their own individual way…
Assist the student with transitioning to University life
Support with accessing social activities
Support with problem solving or addressing concerns as they arise
Time management, organisation, managing and prioritising workload, planning a work schedule
Support with managing some aspects of personal life such as managing finances, looking after your own wellbeing, sleep hygiene, nutrition and work/life balance
Signposting to extra support if needed
Exam preparation, including managing stress and anxiety
Managing personal relationships and friendships
Exploring useful apps/technology/strategies to assist learning and/or improve productivity
£48 per 1 hour online session.

If you’re a student in Further or Higher Education and would like to feel more supported then this is for you!

Mentoring sessions are typically one hour, once per week in term time only. However, this can be adjusted depending on your individual needs and circumstances but we would not look to offer more than one hour per week.

An experienced Specialist Academic and Wellbeing Mentor.
A free 15 minute no-obligation telephone consultation.
Comprehensive regular term-time Mentoring sessions for approx. 60 minutes.

No - all work undertaken is in-house.

Prior to booking, there will be a free 15 minute telephone consultation where we can discuss if Mentoring is for you.
If you then wish to go ahead the cost will be £48 per session, on a pay as you go basis. You will be invoiced for payment after each weekly session.
Payments can be completed online but please include the invoice reference number.
There is no cost if you cancel a session with more than 24 hours notice before the appointment time. After this time, full payment is expected. Please see our cancellation policy for more details.

We will agree a mutually convenient date and time to meet online. The initial meeting will discuss areas of focus and go through our Mentor/Mentee contract.
